Digital Director

Location: Remote, United States
Salary: $125,000 plus comprehensive benefits

Grassroots Law Project — founded by civil rights activist and journalist, Shaun King — is at the forefront of the fight for liberation from the oppressive systems of policing, incarceration, and racial injustice in America. As the team behind the campaigns to seek accountability for Ahmaud Arbery, Breonna Taylor, and George Floyd — and to free Rodney Reed, Michael Thompson, and Marvin Guy — we have learned that our success depends on combining the best of grassroots organizing with deep legal expertise to give millions of everyday people the tools to make real change.

We advance policies that have the potential to drastically reduce the number of people harmed by police and prisons, advocate on behalf of families most impacted by injustice, and work with our partner PACs to elect leaders who are deeply committed to dismantling systems of oppression. The staffer in this position will also be employed by two political action committees — Grassroots Law PAC and Real Justice PAC.

We are an ambitious, fast-paced, dynamic organization that puts the impact of the work first. We have taken on cases and campaigns that others deemed “impossible” — and then won.
